LAWYER - SENIOR ASSOCIATE

LEADING INDEPENDEND FIRM OF BUSINESS ADVISORS, MEMBER OF A WORLD-WIDE NETWORK OPERATING IN 85 COUNTRIES IS LOOKING FOR A LAWYER - SENIOR ASSOCIATE FOR BUCHAREST (FULL TIME JOB)
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
University degree in Law, master or postgraduate studies is a plus
Definitive lawyer, member of the Bucharest Bar, with minim 5 years experience;
Practice Areas: Competition Law, Commercial Law, Mergers and Acquisitions.
Experience of working in an international environment, with foreign clients;
Used to work independently as well as to be a good team leader and target oriented person;
Management, analysis and synthesis skills;
Flexible, resistant to work under pressure and willing to work overtime;
PC knowledge
Strong English skills both spoken and written;
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates an internal executive legal team in commercial matters for international clients
Responsible for handling the corporate affairs/company laws, drafts/reviews.
Follows up of the on-going litigations/coordination of all litigations, contracts finalization and all due diligence work.
Keeps abreast of new Romanian laws and practice; alert business people of relevant developments.
Trains and updates business people on legal topics and code of business conduct for the legal aspects.
