Predarea teoriei evolutiei in scoli

si super oamenii de stiinta (exemple infinte) care sunt religiosi in ce categorie sunt?

(ca n-au cum sa fie din ... Ambele categorii sunt rezultatul unui sistem de educatie in care, afara de multe, multe alte defecte, rationamentul este aproape ignorat dar memorarea, cel mai adesea memorarea unor lucruri fara rost, este incurajata.)

Nu exista super oameni de stiinta religiosi. Exista oameni de stiinta care cred intr-o forta vitala sau in ceva asemanator dar o astfel de credinta, chiar daca e nejustificata, nu poate fi numita religiozitate. E mai mult o chestiune de personalitate.
Omul religios trebuie definit ca persoana care afirma existenta unei divinitati-persoana careia trebuie sa i se supuna neconditionat, pe care o venereaza pentru ca ar fi creat universul si careia ii adreseaza rugaciuni. Rugaciunea este un element foarte important al religiozitatii pentru ca presupune existenta unei divinitati care intervine in realitatea cotidiana. Niciun om serios nu poate sa creada asa ceva iar savantii sunt oameni seriosi.
Acum, inchipuiti-va un grup de savanti de la Mare Accelerator din Geneva care in loc sa porneasca acceleratorul si sa faca ceea ce trebuie sa faca un fizician se roaga catre cer: "Doamne, arata-ti puterea si da-ne noua o ploaie de bozoni Higgs".
Stiu ca sunt persoane care, din diferite motive care sunt totdeauna legate de un anumit tip de personalitate, impaca un spirit stiintific aparent foarte riguros cu credinta in tot felul de lucruri bizare. Astfel de oameni au un aparat mintal suficient de bine pus la punct incat sa produca teorii in mod foarte subtil false insa greu de dovedit ca fiind asa si cu aparenta de coerenta. In cazul in care persoana mai are si o bruma de eruditie rezultatul poate fi de-a dreptul spectaculos. Astfel de persoane pot chiar sa descopere lucruri importante in stiinta (serendipitate) insa astfel de exceptii nu fac altceva decat sa confirme regula:
Savantii nu cred prostii.

Trei. Evolutia speciilor prin selectie naturala si evolutionismul modern sunt teorii stiintifice pe care se sprijina in intregime toata medicina care, inainte de a deveni moderna, in secolele dinaintea descoperirii epocale facute de Darwin era doar un fel de vrajitorie de doua parale.
